I totally agree with Hahnemannian2002 here. Knowledge is not owned by
anybody - So we should use this opportunity to built upon the
discoveries of modern science and look upon them with the eye of a true
homeopath.

Look at it this way: If Hahnemann were alive today and like Sherri he
had denied the total existence of viruses or their role in diseases he
would have been booed even by homeopaths. He did not deny the existence
of small 'inimical' morbific agents in his time then why are some of us
doing it now!?

There are different ways you would advice to different infections-

I suggest that you take just the eruptive fevers category in any
standard text book of medicine and come up with an alternate way of
classifying them so that it is helpful for 1) Focused case taking 2)
diagnosis 2) treatment 3) predict the prognosis of what would happen
if it is not treated...

What we should be doing is not denying all these causes... we have
not shed any sweat doing this research and investigation
ourselves... instead it will be better for us to utilize all of this
so that our case management becomes better...

If you have not been able to make use of this information till now -
may be it is time to do so...and it can be improved still, the
publishing of the materia medica of viruses, bacteria etc. is a step
in the right direction.

How do you have an incubation period without infection? What do you
incubate?

the handiwork of vaccine manufacturers. You have convinced me so
much that I have started forming my own correct conclusions about
all therapies.

For example acupuncture is a bogus system kept alive by needle
manufacturers. Psychoanalysis exists only so that manufacturers of
recliners, sofas and couches can make a living. The Global Furniture
association has managed to manipulate the APA and other
organizations. All the alternative therapies are being funded by
subversive elements in each country to cause a social revolution

This notion of incubation is a vague one at best as it is almost
impossible to 'see' for sure when it begins although in some
individuals, if you are observant, you can retrospectively name the
'beginning'. But all disease has some kind of incubation - from
causation to awareness, whatever that causation might be and will vary
enormously from one individual to another whether in acute conditions
or chronic.

For all we know all of us have some kind of incubation going on (again,
either for an acute condition or a chronic development) but it is our
susceptibilities, or lack of them, that will either open the door or
keep it shut.

So, in my opinion, the time between the so called incubation period and
the awareness of disease is merely! the vital force doing its work, or

Oh for heaven's sake and for the sanity of most people on this list
going with this discussion, you have completely missed the point.

Regardless of whether or not there is a corruptive coercion going on in
the big wide world (and you'd have to have your eyes shut if you
thought there wasn't) the whole point being made is that getting up
front and personal with the bacteria, virus, germ, noxious substance,
i.e. naming them, is not an important part of our case analysis. Unless
you have extensive lab work done to assist you in naming a rogue
substance, which can be erroneous and circumspect at best and time
wasting at worst, it should not be part of your rubric selection, sx
ranking, or choice of rx. The most important decision in acutes is how
life threatening is this, what is the likely progress of the condition,
what organs are involved - THAT definitely has to be ranked, then you
take the sx and prescribe on them.

This is NOT to say that aetiology in disease is not important - it very
much is so and is intimately linked to the individual but it just
doesn't include naming a particular type of bacteria, virus, germ etc
that bears no real relation to the sx and the individual.

I will add a few of my newly found insights following my discussions
with Sheri, which very much like Hahnemannian2002 I lost, and that due
to her superior and most logical 'wisdom':

I can now have sex with all the HIV positive people anywhere anytime
without any fears. HIV virus does not exist at all so I should be safe -
now only if I could keep myself away from chlorinated swimming pools!

I can now also ask all the blood banks in my city to stop screening for
HIV, HBV, HCV etc. Its just waste of resources and we can save a lot of
money if I can just convince the local health authority. Maybe if I
forward them Sheri's mails they would be convinced as I have been!

I am also now free to tell the whole of Africa to forget mosquitoes and
malaria. It is DDT that is causing more than 300 million cases of
malaria leading to more than a million deaths in that continent. These
countries should use their money more wisely on food rather than buying
insecticide impregnated bednets. How far will this go in helping the
poor people of Africa! I just cannot imagine.
