If someone has debilitating pain before menses you would give the Rx after the menses or before the next menses?

I would give it at ovulation! Anything to do with the menses I give at
ovulation.

But I would *certainly* give something at the time of the debilitating
pain!
If the picture of the pains suits the constitutional remedy, wouldn't
it make sense to give it then? Or else give whatever *does* suit the
"acute" picture.

Exactly, if a situation is critical and the individual is experiencing
acute pains then you give the rx there and then - each case should be
assessed individually and the seriousness of the condition ranked. Best
to be individual and not routine. This is the problem with the word
'constitutional' - it suggests there is lots of time to play with. Joy
