used intercurrently. I will certainly look at remedies you mentioned
and those in rubrics you mentioned. I had got stuck with the
convulsion ones, His general state from a difficult childhood seemed
to me to be Stramonium and fits appeared to be induced by anxiety
though they first appeared after a bleed. They went for period after
surgrery and then recurred . Thanks again

I would treat these as 2 separate things. Convulsions might tell you
about the chronic state but most probably just reflects the physical
nature of the lesion ( where the bleed occurred) and what structures
were involved, pressure symptoms etc.
Then to treat the "inner terrain" or the state that gave rise to the
vessel problem look for the underlying symptoms that have not changed
thru this episode or which still continue. You can pick these symptoms
and treat them later on as well. Sometimes the same medicine can
cover both - the acute or the chronic underlying picture - but most
often not.
For example Arnica might treat the current condition but not
necessarily touch the preexisting situation, whereas Lach might do
both - the current episode and also any preexisting condition for
example high blood pressure.

That is why collecting all symptoms is important but not trying to
treat all of them at the same time.We should know what is to be cured
"at this particular time".

Had a similar CVA case one time where the patient despite his
hemiparesis wanted to know how soon he can have sex. He was more
bothered with this than mobility. He was 67 and till before the
attack had sex almost daily. We gave him a dose of Arnica first and
then Fluoric Acid - which improved his hemiparesis greatly and some
other symptoms as well.

Sexual Excitement Old Men - has just Arnica and Fluoric Acid against it.
