affordable software

Post by Theresa Partington »

Hi Wolf
There are software programmes for acutes - I won the Cara one, Akiva, in a raffle and have found it useful myself. I believe there are several similar things in the price range you are looking at. The main thing is to be aware of what is an acute and what isn't and to accept the fact that if the obvious remedy doesn't work, finding the next one to try might require a deeper level of understanding than you have , or it might be a remedy that isn't in the top ten for that particular condition. I don't see a difference between a first aid type book and the same thing on disk particularly.
I agree that a first aid course would be a good thing if only because you still need to know *how * to use the remedies and interpret results and the homeopathic view on what is acute and what isn't and what is amenable to self-help and what isn't is not necessarily the same as the one you might have been familiar with.
