I usually buy my euphrasia tincture in a saline solution prepared by the
pharmacy for this very reason ( to avoid the alcohol) or just make a tea
from the herbs. I don't know if calendula is available in a saline solution
but you could certainly make up the tea as required. The saline solution
has a shelf life of 6 weeks in theory but doesn't seem to go off for much
longer than that..

Somenone mentioned a couple of weeks ago that the U.S. government is looking
into hom remedies in case of epidemic. A web address was posted could it be
