FTRN 120 was:

Characteristic symptoms of the rectal region is
usually indicative of this remedy.

The patient experiences a long-lasting (and usually
burning) pain in rectum after stool. The pain compells
the patient to rise and walk and are aggravated at
night.

Itching in anus is another important symptom of this
remedy. Ulceration of anus and perineum is accompanied
by oozing of offensive moisture.

Chronic moist skin ulcers may appear on different
parts of body. It is one of the useful remedies in
treatment of bedsores.

The patient is nervous and irritable, esp in

Dear all, 'find the remedy's name' is such a valuable but simple process of
getting to know a remedy, and is also fun to do. When we look at the
original source of any remedy we can often gain extraordinary insights into
the symptom picture of that remedy. Just by knowing the substance, its
colour, texture, herbal application, its history, its natural location, etc,
etc gives us an enormous set of clues to work with.

But can anyone give me an insight into the applications of the most recent
FTR - Paeonie. Where and how and from what do the anal fissures and
nightmares evolve. What is the connection - are the roots fissured, is it
poisonous enough to cause nightmares, do the roots ooze when cut???? All I
know about Paeonies is that if you grow them in your garden, moving them
stops them flowering for years..... <<<< for motion??? .....stubborn,
wilful????......revengeful????

I would really like some info on this if anyone can help as the more we know
about the source of each remedy we can surely add to our knowledge of that
remedy.

Dear Joy, I think it is very interesting to study the remedy not only by the
MM's and Dictionaries etc , but also applying the Doctrine of Signatures and
look into natural insights of it .

Here is what I could find about the last remedy .
Peony - a plant with large , handsome flowers. ( perhaps head symptoms of
fullness heaviness? ) The clusters of leafy shoots , red and shiny green in
appearance ( symptoms of congestion ? ) , make a striking effect a few
weeks before the flowers appear in late spring or early summer . Better to
plant paeonies in open or slightly shady place of the garden .These plants
"cannot stand to be planted near big tall trees or shrubs " ( < pressure ?
anxious afraid to talk with anyone ? )
The large flowers of the common peony are white , red or crimson and are
lovely to look at , although they do not have much fragrance. Tuberous
(funnel-shaped,round ulcer ? hemorrhoids , the anal orifice swollen ) root
red- dark-brown , white inside with very strong distinctive odor of
methyl salicylate ( ulcers oozing offensive moisture on perineum ?) . Once
the root is cut it turns dark very quick ( rush of blood to head , face ,
chest , redness of eyes ? ) .

Different parts of the plant contain carbohydrates, acids, essential oil ,
monoterpenoids, sterols, benzoic and salicylic acids, Vitamin C ,
flavonoids.

In Chinese Medicine peony is used to aid in treatment of oncological
disorders.
