Dear Friends and Fellow Appreciators of Homeopathy!
For 18 years now, I've served as the chairperson for the National
Center for Homeopathy's annual conference...and this past year's conference
may have been the BEST conference that I've ever organized.
Whether you personally attended this conference or not, you can now
get copies of the CD-audios (they are now on CDs, not tapes!).
Of SPECIAL interest to many people will be the day-long workshop on
research. The people who attended this workshop will truly impressed by the
depth and breadth of the information provided, and it is of interest to
anyone with a serious interest in homeopathy or real healing. Also...the
last item listed below is a day-long workshop with Richard Pitcairn, DVM,
PhD. Dr. Pitcairn is widely recognized as the best homeopathic vet in the
U.S. This presentation was his FIRST at an NCH Conference. If you have any
interest in veterinary health care, do not miss this presentation!
Also...the lectures by Roger Morrison, Nancy Herrick, Malcolm Smith,
Deborah Vidal, and many others were fabulous.
DISCOUNTS: Although our website doesn't highlight this fact, we
WILL provide a $2 discount per CD-audio purchased when 3 or more CDs are
purchase (Note: The invoice that you will receive online will not include
this discount, but we WILL provide this discount when charging your credit
card...the "sets" of CDs count as "1 CD").
I do not know if the LINKS that I have inserted into the name of
each presentation will work via this email list, but if they don't work, you
can find each of them at my website under NEW PRODUCTS (either
"Introductory" or "Advanced" depending upon the subject...and they will be
at the BOTTOM of each list!)...

Pathology in Veterinary Homeopathy: Significance &
Treatment
The status of homeopathic medicine in the American veterinary
community today, if not completely ignored, is to consider such treatment an
adjunct of the dominant school. Because of this, the cases homeopathic
veterinarians get are often animals who have not been helped by other
treatments. Such clients are often desperate, and their caregivers tend to
see this treatment as their "last chance." Therefore, contemporary
veterinary homeopathic practice often becomes primarily the treatment of
advanced disease.
These patients often have serious pathology or even end-stage organ
failure. As noted by Hahnemann and others, as the patient shows more
pathology, the symptoms become less characteristic or peculiar. These health
problems occur more often when allopathic treatment has changed or
suppressed many of the symptoms. We often work with patients in this
condition:
1. effects of prolonged illness.
2. cachexia.
3. organ compromise or failure.
4. history of suppressed symptoms.
5. lack of characteristic or guiding symptoms.
We will look at a theoretical model so as to better understand the
patient's situation. In addition, we will go over strategies to use with
these cases, how to start, what goal to have (in treatment), and what
remedies and potencies are most appropriate.
Richard Pitcairn, DVM, PhD is widely recognized as the preeminent teacher of
veterinary homeopathy in the United States. Besides being a veterinarian,
he received his PhD in immunology, and is the author of "Natural Health for
Dogs and Cats." He is the founder of the Academy of Veterinary Homeopathy
(a professional organization of veterinary homeopathic practitioners).
