Owie knee...

Post by Shannon Nelson »

I did this weird thing to my knee this morning, jumping when I guess my
muscles weren't up to it, and my knee "popped", felt as tho it
momentarily dislocated to the side, now feeling very stiff, weak, sore
and unstable. I'm hoping I didn't detach anything, but maybe
overstretched the ligament? Ruta seems appropriate, but I'm thinking
that sudden and dramatic results are unlikely in this sort of situation
(am I being unnecessarily pessimistic?). Can anyone suggest potency
and repetition, since "as needed" (my usual approach) may be hard to
determine in the short-run? Anyone have experience with this? (I'm
open to other remedy ideas too; I just got back from a trip and haven't
had a chance for anything other than first-thought so far...)
Thanks!
Shannon

Dear Shannon,
You have now the opportunity to *feel* real answers to all those things we have been musing and discussing here and you are so interested in them. Your vital force [so to speak] provided you with a non-life-threatening and not too agonizing case. So why hesitate?

***Stick to this approach. You have your homeopath near you all the time, why should it be hard?

***Not me, but this approach is 'filed' with me as the best.

***Ruta seems ok. Start with it and see what happens. Sure others will come with more suggestions. Keep us informed
Good luck!

Interesting that you've just got back from a trip and now a knee pops
out of place. I'm not likely to suggest Ruta because the choice =
routinist (not to say it won't work wonders though) - for all the cases
I have had and when I've opted for the routine choice for speed, it so
rarely works. Apart from taking the case you could look at your known
and current life simillimum and see if the sx are covered by it. Write
down the sx if you feel up to it. Best wishes, Joy

Consider the homeopathic cell salt Calc. Flour.
