Minutus

Dear all,

I have a little boy (3 years) who came to me for molluscum. Mainly on
his belly, going inguinal
I prescribed (taking the whole case) sulphur C30 (split-dose methode).
The molluscum disapeared ( a big part anyway), but when the bottle was
finished they slowly came back. They repeated Sulphur C200.(split dose
again) Although the skin seemed a lot better, the molluscum did not go
away. We will waite and watch
But.... after they bathed the child, the skin of the fingers (tops)
peeled off. After the second time the skin of the fingers seemed to
peel off. What is happening?
I tried to look up this phenomenon, to follow the case, but am not
sure where to look and how to put this in perspective.

I think the situation could be telling you that the rx was not the
simillimum and that suppression and/or proving is taking place. I don't
know what your version of split dose means but you mention the bottle
being finished so it sounds like way too much dosing has been
happening.

Anyway, Sulphur has the sx 'skin denuded and sore' and this could
relate to the skin peeling off the fingers. I would be taking the case
again and looking for another rx and refer to David Little's posts
regarding 'split doses' and re-consider how you instruct for dosing.

Virtually every MM will describe the desquamation of Sulphur along with
<<< for washing or any kind of wetness and the soreness that results.

Dear Willy
I have heard sometime that the big difference between C30 and C200 can be the reason. For example in this case the depth of disease has been a little more than C30(Because disease returned) but much less than C200. Therefore after prescribing a non necessary big potency, you have got some proving from remedy.

This is exactly what I think happened.
I also think the boy is proving the remedie, but what now?
I have gone over the case again and sulphur is still indicated.
At the moment, though, it seems best to wait.
