inflammation
inflammation
Hai,
I have a friend who cut quite a piece of her thumb while washing the
glasses. She went to the hospital, where they put a bandage with
parafine on het thumb and some pressure bandage to cut the bleeding.
In the mean time she took Hypericum 200C watersolution, 2 times a day,
which made the pain go away.
After 3 days, the dumb looks inflammed. Red, thick, while the wound is
still open and some pus comes out.
Docters want her to take AB.
What can we do with such an acute???
Best regards, Willy

here is a suggestion from Banerji's Mat. med.
Calendula 200
Any surgical wound or ulceration remaining unhealed.
May be after operation of perineal abscess, amputation of limb or any part of the body, or injury
caused by knife in the sclera, choroidea and corpus vitreum protruded; in such cases, the form of
the eye could be retained and sight for large objects could be revived.
Dose Once a day.
Note So long the wounds are remaining unhealed and not dried up,
this remedy has a scope to work.
If you keep doing what you are doing, you will keep getting what you are getting.

The above will have plenty of information for you on this matter. But instead of looking at 200c, start with 30c.

Re: inflammation
Repertorize the symptoms and modalities, and then decide. But be careful if infection gets to the palm of the hand your friend is in trouble.

Re: inflammation
last year i developed a case of blood poisoning from an infected
and deeply layered bought of poison ivy. it had run up my arm and
inflamed several lymph glands before i realized it. i was too out of
it to take my case but used golden seal tincture topically and internally.
that took care of the inflammation within a day. i dont see why a
properly chosen remedy wouldnt take care of the inflammation fairly
quickly.

Re: inflammation
Thanks everybody for your replies with which I am very happy.
especially because doctors wanted to give her flucloxacilline 500, for
seven days, three times a day.
She wasn't to happy with this and neither was I). The inflammation is
still placed round the wound (which is still open pushing the
inflammation outside).
I already the salt water baths for the dumb. I will look op Goldenseal
(This I have in my kit) and the calendula from which I have the
granules and the emulsion. I do not have Goldenseal for external use.
Again thanks,
Willy

Re: inflammation
Because once it spreads from the finger to the palm of the hand it extends rapidly throughout the whole volar part of the hand because there are no more anatomic structures separating. At that point it can get very ugly. I have seen soime cases which had to be operated at the end opening the whole palm of the hand to evacuate the infection

Dear Marco,
Thanks for your concern. I do realize, that there is a possibility the
inflammation will spread and will keep close notice
