Morphine and Homeopathy

Hello to everyone!
I am learning so much from this group.

My father has congestive heart failure and emphysema. He was working
with a homeopath that had him on several remedies, including Lobelia. He
still smokes heavily and is in great pain. His homeopath moved because
he got a job on a cruise ship (lucky guy) but he still takes his
remedies. However he started Morphine for the pain and I know there are
several things that negate the remedies- is Morphine going to do that?

OH- one remedy was homeopathic Tarantula Spider. My father has no clue
why...what is that used for? It is not in any of my books.

Thanks for any help!
