High levels of Cholesterol are to a great degree due to high levels of
HOMOCYSTEINE.
In fact high amounts of this in the blood causes damage to the lining of the
arteries and veins. You then need cholesterol as part of the repair
mechanism.
This has been know since 1969 but the guy who discovered the link and
reported had his funding and lab taken away from him because Cholesterol is
such big BUCK EARNER.
Homocysteine is over 40% more accurate to predict heart disease than
cholesterol.
