to Simon question about practicing as a homeopath

Simon, thank you for your approach and perspective on my question. I
like the challenge of self employment, and have worked for myself in the
past and found it very rewarding....I worked as an independent
contractor, as well as having set up and run a small but successful a
charity organization. This kind of employment scenario poses
difficulties that just aren't present in a position where one shows
up/works/collects a paycheck (like when I was between contracts), and
that is challenging (and scary!) as well as conferring a lot of
benefits. I have not established a business in the UK, so would have a
lot to learn....but my husband has also worked for himself here and
could guide me through the mechanics of it. He was not entirely
successful and let his practice run itself down--so although he would be
an eager and superb administrator, I will certainly have to do my own
marketing!!! I also really enjoy working with the public and am a
pretty decent public speaker--I could diversify and teach a bit to
supplement myself if need be...

Thank you again.

Tracy
