Article in Utne magazine on homeopathy & the flu

Below is the "letter to the editor" that I wrote. It is fine article,
though it has a couple of errors...
Dear Editor
In your March-April, 2006, article ("Diluting a Disease: Could
homeopathy stop the avian flu?") I was quoted as saying that people who take
Tamiflu "are posing a public health threat." People who know my work in
homeopathy and public health might have been confused by this partial quote.
My actual total quote was: "People with the regular flu who take Tamilfu
are posing a public health threat because they are speeding up the
resistance of the bird flu virus to this drug."
Both doctors and patients should honor the Hippocratic credo, "First,
do no harm." Therefore, homeopathy should FIRST be considered in the
treatment of many common ailments.

PS The author also incorrectly stated that "before the AMA was
founded...there were 22 homeopathic medical schools." Actually, there was
only homeopathic medical school in 1846 when the AMA was founded, but by
1900, there were 22.
And that "Lancet" study that suggested that homeopathic medicines don't work
was one of the most biased and unscientific reviews of the research
literature ever published (very embarrassing to the Lancet!).
