Homeopathy in the news big!!

Dear all,
For those of us in the US: Check out the COVER story in the
March-April Utne Reader magazine, "How Homeopathy Could Stop the Avian Flu" !! It's
not on utne.com yet, but it's at bookstores now (236,000 paid circulation plus
newsstand sales). Short but IMO, very clear -- it quotes Dana Ullman,
mentions Julian Winston, says 99% of 1918 flu patients treated with homeopathy
survived compared with 70% (?) treated conventionally, gives founding credit to
Hahnemann, cites the recent Lancet article saying homeopathy doesn't work and The
French society of Homeopathy countering that claim, lets Dana warn against
Tamiflu, etc. Two pages.
To keep the word going, I suggest you point this story out to your local
media -- newspapers, radio and tv news programs -- as well as other magazines
(Mother Jones, The Nation, Vanity Fair, biggies/progressives). I'm sure
going to.
Let's see what we can do!!
Best,
Margaret in Boston
