whatever. We are as clear about homeopathy works as we are about how
PC remedies work. The attacks on PC are indentical to the attacks of
the allopaths on homeopathy in style and content - arrogant,
condescending, censorious, dismissive - right down suggesting its
placebo . I dont know if PC works or not. Nor do I know how they are
made. If its placebo as Joy suggests then the chances are Joy's
homeopathy is too. Why not? And if it truly is curing thousands of
cases of AIDS and other diseases lets investigate and then celebrate
if warranted and not get all worked up about whether its good
homeopathy or not. For goodness sake get a life. Anyway on that
note...I have got to get back to the Superbowl.

Even though I agree with you Robin to lighten up, your post itself is
not one that would make people smile... May be Superbowl might make
you get into a lighter mode...

I think what Joy says makes much sense- Homeopathy does not have any
secrets... we know what we give- if you do not like what the
pharmacies supply then there is a method and you can follow that to
make your own medicine - not at all the case with PC Remedies... Joy
does not say that the remedy does not work- only that we do not even
know what it is - is it homeopathy or is it magnetotherapy or what?
Chappell writes something about using mathematical formulae or magnets
or water to arrive at the disease picture and the medicine....so what
is it...

Why the secrecy? Homeopathy is not secretive - and never was- If the
secrecy is for making sure that the remedies and the system work -is
it not counter-productive? What better way to get it validated than to
throw it open so that many people can take a look at it, improve it
and spread the word....

Just because something is effective does not make it homeopathy.
Even if PC remedies work- as long as they do not follow the general
approach of homeopathy - like cures like and symptom similarity etc.-
why should it go by the name of homeopathy and if not, why do we need
to discuss that at all?

Pointing this out is not arrogance or high-horsing- There is a need
for defining ourselves and esp. at this time when the fundamentals
have been so diluted... and we do not need THIS to be called
homeoapthy as well - at this time when we find defending even regular
homeopathy itself difficult what with our neo-Classical approaches -
