cell salts

I don't know where the 'Pregnancy Programme' came from (Thomas Maughan?) but I bought it as such when I was first pregnant 25 years ago and it is much, much older than that. Being surprisingly bad at taking tablets for a homeopath I still had the four bottles 2/3 full up until last year's spring clean. I did note that calc fluor is the constant in the regime, though, and even now will often give a short course of calc fluor and ferrum phos at intervals during the course of a pregnancy. Schussler recommended the combining of tissue salts for greater effectiveness. There is nothing new about it.It is not classical homeopathy but an integral part of the history of homeopathy in general.
Someone did tell me that there are a couple of slightly different versions of the pregnancy programme doing the rounds.

Has anyone here done a head-to-head comparison of the actions, in the
same person (preferably oneself) of a cell salt remedy in cell salt
potency vs. the equivalent in c, e.g. 6x vs. 6c?

Hello Shannon – Yes I have done it many times (depending on what was available in my stock at the moment) and have seen some cases with very different reactions and some that are indiscernible. Happy to discuss details offline.

Miranda Castro sells cell salts form her site. Can't remember how much they
cost. I bought a little travel kit of them. I can't remember or don't know
which remedy I took now but one of these cell salts brought almost 20-20
vision to my worst eye..the one that sees a blur if I'm two feet away from
something...either calc fl or calc phos. I quit taking the salts to do
constitutional and my eye went bad again. I'll have to experiment some other
time.

Cell salts have to do with the function of the cells of the body.

THat does not, so it is not a cell salt, no matter who calls it one.

Schuessler discovered the main twelve cell salts. These are helpful in low potency -0 Schessler spent his life developing them and docum, enting them, muchg like Hahnemann developed h omeopajthy - and they are ideal per Schuessler in 6X potency - to use much like supplements to strengthen the body's cell function.

Namaste,
Irene

hi
Interesting.

Well, Certainly the remedies listed on the website as "addtitional
cell salts" are homeopathically potentized (triturated) to 3x, 6x and
the like. But I'll debate whether they should be "cell" salts or
simply homeopathic trituated medicines. I know these medicines are
frequently used in homeopathic prescriptions. I certainly use
Aur-nat-mur often enough for the same purposes.

As I understand Schuessler, the original 12 were determined because
they were present in the human body and are necessary for the body's
cellular function. Of course there may be more such minerals beyond
the 12 that fit that criteria. But I'm questioning whether lithium,
gold, aluminum, arsenic and the like fit the criteria.
