ooooooooooooooo shaking in my boots
This list is for Classical & Hahnemannian Homeopathy http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/minutus/
"MINUTUS group was founded by Dr Ardavan Shahrdar in 2000 and is now one of the most active homeopathy discussion e-groups.
The aim of MINUTUS discussion group is to share useful information on classical and Hahnemannian homeopathy. "
Most of what is here doesn't even qualify as homeopathy......................homeopathy has laws and principles but most don't even realize it and then there is a new person on this list who posts all kinds of garbage and thinks we should be amused. Kind of like going to see The Phantom of the Opera and finding out you actually are seeing A Chorus Line or Jeeves & Wooster
But some of us keep trying to keep it on track...................

I don’t know who this roger person is, but his function on this list is diversionary
and obstructionist. I don’t trust him and question why he even posts here. He feels
like a troll to me. If not, he is a narcissist who seems to like to control the entire
energy of this group. Under the guise of demanding ‘loving’ responses to himself,
he is quite hostile and rejecting of anyone who questions him. Whenever there are
people who behave like this, the group loses people. Enough already.

I've been watching and biting my tongue, along with you guys. One thing upon which I can bet is that he has never had any martial arts training, where one learns RESPECT for elders, teachers, and associates above all, or one gets pounded the first time, and expelled from the dojo the next. Self confidence is a wonderful thing, but needs to be held close to the chest, while absorbing what others have discovered in their quests. Roger, you are to be commended for being such an explorer in your own life, but you came here presumably to learn, not to teach, and a little courtesy, even towards those who are rude or still ignorant, would get you further.

Re: BFR
So we equate this website with a dojo, where people are trained to injure others and then bow and be respectful to them. Well, for me, if someone spews hostility at me, I just shun them.
If I have been disrespectful and hurtful, I apologize. I don't like going to bed upset, and I don't want to make others to be upset and going to bed tossing and turning.
Roger

Re: BFR
Is it OK if I ask a question about the Bach Flower Remedies since there seems to be several BFR experts here?
(1) I have a bottle that I used for impatiens. I have now expanded my remedies to impatiens, and three Flower Essence Society remedies: calendula, chamomile, and snapdragon and am using a different bottle. I have heard that we should not reuse bottles. I used to boil my bottles and reuse them. Lately I thought that perhaps I could put them in wet mud and allow them to sit and dry for a couple of day and that would to it. What say you BFR experts?
(2) I trust the Bach flower remedies and the Flower Essence Society remedies. Should I or should I not trust any or all of the other companies, like the Australian and others?
Sincerely,
Roger Bird

Re: BFR
Roger,
In dispensing homoeopathic or BFR usually we use bottles made of natural glass. Rinsing bottle with cold distilled water is advisable because it will dissolve any impurity or medicinal residue. And then clean it with a bit of Extra neutral alcohol.
I was advised not to heat or boil natural glass bottle. When went to a glass factory for new bottles they told me to use borosilicate glass if reusing is expected.
I am using medicines from “The Bach Centre, UK” I haven’t been disappointed yet.

Re: BFR
I find that advice surprising. Ensuring that there is no residue of potentised material will require more than a rinse. And we want to be as sure as possible that no dynamic medicine is in the bottle other than the one we suppose it to contain.
Evidently there's some reason not to heat the glass; presumably it can lead to leaching of substances from the glass, or perhaps weaken its structure and create microfine cracks. But we cannot reasonably expect the phenomenon of potency to behave according to our convenience; we must assume that it's quite possible for the potentiated medicine to remain active even in an apparently empty bottle until deactivation. The person planning to re-use a glass bottle for a different substance after it has contained a potentised one needs to do something if he or she is to ensure that no potentised material remains. (And, let's remember, glass itself at room temperature is, strictly speaking, a liquid! That may be worth considering.)
In relation to a clear glass container, sunlight is the obvious choice. The inside of the lid needs separate consideration, and even if the bottle is to escape heating, perhaps the lid should not; many lids contain an inserted seal that even sunlight will not reach behind.
In relation to darkened glass bottles, though, it's difficult to see a straightforwardly accessible alternative to heating. Perhaps a reasonable compromise would be a quick rinse with pure water at > 70˚C (158˚F). Concern for leaching could be mitigated by a further rinse with cool water (but only once the glass has air-cooled, in order to minimise the microcracking that could occur due to sudden cooling).
Cheers --
