Re: Online Schools ?

Hello Susan, thank you for asking. We are in the process of upgrading the website, the correction should be made shortly. The British Institute of Homeopathy has been teaching aqueous dilutions since 2004 almost exclusively. I myself have used aqueous dilutions since studying with David Little since I started professional practice many, many years ago.
I hope that clears up any misconception.
Sincerely,
Maria T. Bohle,
Director BIH International

Hi Maria,
So nice to see you! I have mixed opinions on the dry vs water dosing having personally taken remedies in both.
I've experienced that a new remedy may not have as much initial effect when first given as a water dose.
Possibly the vital force needs a stronger push initially to proiduce a reaction which may need dry, then switching to water once you observe the remedy is working.
So, when i first was given what is now my constitutional antipsoric, it was as 3-4 200C dry pill doses, repeated a few times in a day, then repeated weeks at a time.
At first I didn't feel much, but soon I did feel benefitis and eventually the dry dose repetition was too much.
Too much meaning the energy from the remedy was overwhelming. I liken it to going to the beach, not using enough suntan lotion and at night feeling the energy from the sun I had absorbed that day producing exhilaration. Possibly a jolt from Vitamin D production.
Then switching to split water C dosing was an improvement and eventually taking the remedy as LM leading to much faster improvement on one chronic illness and more exacting management on a daily basis not possible with C potency.
Generally, some of the cases I read on BIH website, like the Phos case or Demeter the cat, seemed cured with a few doses. I think it wouldn't matter if those were repeated dry doses or aqueous doses. Split C water dosing and LMs show their superiority when treating chornic illnesses.
Additionally, from my recollection, first year homeopathy training was learning about a complete new subject, dosing style was not an issue, learning MM, Repertory, remedy profiles, nosodes, etc. is what was really important. We used the O'Reilly 6th ed Organon translation but did not discuss LMs and most of us in class weren't aware of the differences of C vs LM when reading the Organon.
Most of the 4th, 5th and 6th aphorisms are the same except where dosing, potency changes were made.
One class lab was making a remedy, learning to sucuss, making a few potencies, all done in C potency, just to get the feel. Even if you were to teach making an LM, you need a 3C to start with, so learning from scratch is what really is important.
I don't see anything wrong in teaching all the potency methods.
Susan
