Re: ? stupid question

Post by Simon King LCPH MARH »

What is stupid is vehemently defining the parameters of homeopathy to
the list and castigating some posters for steeping off the path,
then months later doing an about turn and pontificating about which
stanza applies to treating timber sheds. The students on the list for
whom you have expressed concern in the past must now seriously
question your integrity.

By all means Treat sheds, bricks, Gaia, the shoes you walk in, makes
no difference to me, but please make your mind up about what you say
constitutes homeopathy (which has also been energetically argued to
be scientific) and what does not constitute homeopathy, (or science)
- with some degree of consistency, otherwise it can not be seen as
anything but confused and inconsistent.

It doesn't ring true when you stand up for strict definitions of
homeopathy, citing the list's classical emphasis, then in the next
breath declare that anything goes, whilst attempting to justify such
forays into redefining homeopathy to suit your mood with confusing
analogies to the homeopathic profession as a whole and vague
speculations on whether inanimate object have a vital force.

Of course it is interesting to speculate but it is very silly and
hypocritical to call treating a shed with dynamized remedies
'homeopathy'

still ROTFL!

Keep your knickers on Simon. You are saying more about yourself than
me. My standpoint hasn't changed.

Still waiting for you to define what a sx is.

You spend a lot of time rolling on the floor don't you. Joy

I was thinking of internal to self - but now that you mention treating the
plant itself - perhaps next spring I'll sneak out in our bush and surprise
the local plants with a taste of their own medicine. Given the 9 straight
years of the torment I went through a a child each spring it would be
delightfully nemesmatic to see those little XX00XX breaking out in their own
blisters, scratching and itchy.

GREAT IDEA SIMON

Simon- I agree with you totally here.
It is not admirable of any one to just take a stand and argue just
for the sake of arguing... Are we trying to prove that a shed's
timber has a vital force and a soul?
Just goes to prove that people are willing to go to any lengths for
having the final say in any discussion...

May be we should agree that there is higher consciousness prevalent
in timber and the next frontier of homeopathy is to find the core
delusions prevalent in items in the border of living - dead... at
least to stop this becoming sillier than what it is ...

People who questioned and found it obnoxious when we stated that
homeopathy cannot be explained by Newtonian science but by quantum
theory- ( and claimed that we were questioning homeopathy's
fundamental principles by saying this-) seem to think this current
discussion is entirely scientific -
This is a quantum leap...

Ah, isn't it sweet when the little boys stick together. And of course
it is a cheap trick to stand in the stalls and point fingers and
criticise as you do Simon. You did this with the 'scientific'
discussion - sat between a rock and hard stone and bounced around and
rolled on the floor but didn't actually bring anything to the
discussion, just kept missing the point and posting smileys. It was a
discussion not an argument but interesting that you both see it from
the same point of view - that speaks volumes. I am glad to be away for
a while on holiday as the house is full of film crews and glad to miss
the rest of this as well. Joy
