confusing it with Belladonna. Any guesses?

Yes, you're right -- it certainly could be confused with Belladonna were one only looking at cycles. Both certainly have hyperesthesia of the senses and hyperactive responses. But one is a hot remedy (Bell.), and the other is cold (Caps.). The latter's fear of being reproached is so striking that it leads to a kind of pre-emptive behavior, like running away to avoid a reprimand.

Peace,
Cinnabar

Dear Cinnabar,
Will you place Bell in a hot category? It has hot flashes and even
hot, but it has an overall chillness which makes him covered and
shivering. The characteristic chill with thirst is more fitting for
bell along with nux, phos, calcc, euph per, hyos, china, sep etc. in
actes. Dr Praful Vijayakar in his celebrated chart of acutes has
confirmed this. He lists them in his dull chilly thirsty axis.

Dear Venkat:

I learned Belladonna as a "hot" remedy: looks hot & is hot, although constitutionally it can be either warm-blooded or chilly, and it certainly is warmth.

I'd love to see Dr. Vijayakar's chart -- is it something you could transmit to the list?

Peace,
Cinnabar

Dear Cinnabar,
The chart of acute, I think is copyright stuff. But is available for
download in carapro.com or www.predictivehomeopathy.com as trial for
limited clicks. The book which is much less expensive is available
with Sanjivani software of Mumbai. The links are in preditive site.
