10 succussions was chosen because it is the number of succussions used at the pharmacy that provides the F series, very simply.

My theory (untested and unproven until there is access to a proper physics lab with people who know what they are doing) is that each remedy and even each potency would need a different number of succussions. I wrote about that in "Third Millennium Homeopathy", needs more elaboration.....one day, later one....

Why not a Fibonacci number of succussions? 8 or 13 might be preferable.

Before the F series era, I gave one dose of 30C then one of 200C a week after, in prevention.

Since F series, 34, 55, 89, 144 and 233C one day after the other.

I do NOT have enough case to compare or even to say it is working (or not).

I do not use it in treatment, only to treat NBWS situations.

You have not read Part 4 of "Third Millennium Homeopathy"............in a nutshell, it is simple geometry, a certain number of succussions would be needed to achieve "saturation" of a fixed volume with the clathrates of the specific remedy; each remedy is geometrically different and its volume is different; it is also possible that each potency has clathrates of different volumes.
Hence the need, IMO, of different number of succussion for different remedies and maybe different potencies.

We have many samples of Influenzinum in stock at Ainsworths.

The main one is a very old flu sample dating back over thirty years.(pre 1985)
The majority of samples are made from the annual flu jab so are dated and
typed with the annual assortment of prevalent flu viruses.

Generally flu jabs are composed of three viral strains and these vary from one
year to the next. In principle any single strain is homoeopathic by nature of its
similarity to a potential symptom picture.
In some cases we have made a true Nosode, ie a patients mucus as opposed to a purified viral culture.

In essence we have discovered Homoeoprophylaxis is more effective with purified cultures and the individual nosode works well in higher potency for a symptom picture that started with a flu, ie chronic Eustachian congestion

Given the changing picture of the flu annually I can see no rational for using these older flu virus
unless there is a clear picture of each of them and maybe one may match.

And using the vaccine itself is downright scary in itself given all the adjuvants and fillers and preservatives.

I don’t see how anyone can use these.
