Yeah, like those human beings who reject all animal products just so as to avoid feeling guilty. (:->)

Oh that's a WONDERFUL story!!! I am just loving that image!
Now for a bit of homeopathy: Irene, what's the cat's constitutional, and is there any rubric for it that might correlate to that "game"?

Nyfiken was a Lycopodium.
Maybe just strange food tastes. Lyc has:
MIND - CURIOUS
GENERALS - FOOD and DRINKS - sour food, acids - desire
GENERALS - FOOD and DRINKS - spices - desire

Re: Eggs-LESS, Going Vegan
Excellent post, Irene. I couldn't agree more:)
I have long entertained a theory that our evolution was/is moving towards a more carnivoristic model, as our intestines actually are significantly shorter than those of apes, and stance more upright, legs longer, larger brains, etc. as befits hunters whose thrifty meat diets give them time and space to become craftier about hunting. My own dietary model is about 90% carnivore, mostly raw, upon which I thrive - I find that most vegetables and fruit cause a degree of digestive distress, blood sugar fluctuations, etc. even when my cravings tell me to eat them.
I also think that our development in this direction would continue, and perhaps has, but was interrupted by the advent of agriculture, enabling, of course, settlements, farming, and many attendant ills of too many people in small areas - epidemics, politics, wars, etc. Our big brains got us in a world of trouble:)

I had the EXACT same problems.
Being primarily an Atkins dieter since 1977, eating plenty of beef, pork, eggs, cheese as focus of meals, if I ate a fruit or too many veggies, I'd experience all those problems so concluded I must go back to strict Atkins.
Now that it's been a month of no beef/pork, no eggs, no dairy, no butter, I can now eat tons of fruit and veggies and not have the bloating, blood sugar swings, high blood pressure, aches and pains. Bowel movements are consistent and stools are the same, not constantly changing shapes, sizes, when some float, some sink.
There needs to be a conversion process for the body do switch over, I"d say about 3 weeks.
Once consistently eating this way, you will begin to experience the benefits.
For example, cantaloupe is low carb so I would eat it but always experience upset as it is also an AVOID food for type B blood dieting. Now when I eat cantaloupe there is negative discomfort.
This weekend I was taken out to dinner to an upscale restaurant. While food quality was good and I tried to stay on track, the whipped potatoes likely had butter and dairy. Right away I felt stomach pushing, discomfort and later on had loose stools.
My reasons for moving towards vegan aren't ethical, spiritual, religious, political though it's eye opeining reading the opinions.
This radical change, years in the making, is due to continued constitutional homeopathic treatment.
TubK LM14 pushed me over the edge.

Re: Eggs-LESS, Going Vegan
In the far distant past, I did vegan, macrobiotics, lots of Atkins. I always had a weight problem, and constantly fought it with exercise and restriction. When I got off the grains, other carbs, and sugars everything fell into place. This happened at just about the same time as constitutional homeopathy. But I do agree that the peace one generates in the body through homeopathy ALLOWS good choices.
I'm still working on my case, and have continued to experiment with dairy-free, juicing, high doses of various supplements and minerals. But nothing seems to make a positive change except a well-chosen remedy. However, my bloodwork is excellent, BP is 90/55, I am lean, with good digestion, clear skin, etc. So I seem to do best as an almost-carnivore, homeopathy notwithstanding:) And I am chipping away at a likely mostly psoric systemic picture of muscle fatigue and headaches. I'd suspect Lyme if there were a chance in Hades I had ever been exposed:)
