Yes that's correct.
Oh but they can! And they do! Their language involves about 120
different sounds, plus a whole lot of facial expressions (with mobile
ears for variations - which we lack) and body language (including
tails for more variations - which we also lack).

For example, m y Phos cat is the chattiest. When I get home, she
spends about 20 mins explaining to me what went on in my absence.
Phos people also have to talk a lot, and know who is doing what where
and why - be involved - chat on the phone for ages......

You can also tell what cats talk about which things.
For example Phos cats (or people) are happy talking about anything
and everything - but Lach cats who also talk - (you'll see
locquacious in the repertory) do not mess about - they speak when
they want to get a specific point across, and not just for the fun of
chatting.
The repertory does not differentiate - just calls both loquacious -
but the characteristics are more specific than that, and they are
clear in all species.
Actually it is easier with animals - they do not intentionally hide
what they think/feel
However - if you do - they have a LOT to teach us - as what applies
to them applies to us - and they offer it honestly and without
ulterior motives, judgements or assumptions:-)
I wish people did that!

I do understand what to look for in a cat's Phos constitutional. What I didn't understand is what Shannon was saying...but she clarified it for me!:)

Ok, I guess I should have clarified. Cats don't speak people speak. Therefore the interpretation of what they are "saying" can be misinterpreted...kinda like in emails.

I just *love* your write-ups on the cats!!
I was trying to see if there are other constitutional type descriptions
there, but can't even find how to get from your main page to the
"catphos" one. Is there a link I've missed?

For the sake of clarity, it should be pointed out that creative writing forays into the "constitutional types" of animals is very far removed from how Boenninghausen cured diseases in his own fairly extensive veterinary practice. The topic of this thread is/was "how to learn the Boenninghausen repertory and method" - just thought I would bring that to back into focus.

constitutional--with animals and/or people?

My website is in need of maintenance and has been since years
back The catphos page was set up as an example just to see if
people would be interested, there are no others on constitutional
type on my website. I hope to put them in a book in time.
There are some descriptions in the archives of the Vethom-
friends email group though - and a few in the advanced vethom course
at BIH.
