Am pleased to report that this morning I can walk on my foot no problem. It is as if the pain was not there yesterday!! I took 1 Phytolacca before bed. The problem was not actually in the heel but more the sole on the right side and on the top of the foot.
Thanks to all who have responded

Maybe do a rep/MatMed on
* Calcaria Carb. – Arthritic swelling, heel pain especially in fleshy people which is worse by cold.

Thanks – I am going to go for the Phytolacca I think. Was going to do 200 but decided to chicken out and do 30!! I take magnesium daily so can’t be that. I suspect it is 2 weeks abroad with only walking as exercise and then returning and going straight into a body combat class Tuesday and Step class last night. I can actually walk on it now so maybe the Arnica 200 I took earlier has helped !!

I must say that I never luck with Ruta, don’t know why, but haven’t
When I develop a plantar fasciitis case on the arch of my foot, it was
exercises that helped the most. I found them online. Very simple stretches.
And the recommendation to keep foot in a flexed position when sleeping so it
didn’t tighten up at night. My daughter has the same condition now and states
that in the morning it is very painful (due to tightness, constriction).
This sounds more Rhus tox like.
Also, look into magnesium deficiencies. There is a lot of that going around
these days. Mag affects the ligaments/tendons as I understand it. Nutrition
can be a real kickers—or the lack of it.
good luck

Does anyone have any knowledge of remedies for an acute plantar fasciitis which has just appeared in me while I was sat at my desk minding my own business!! I can’t walk on my right foot !! Just had the diagnosis confirmed at A&E!!
Tried to rep it and can’t find it. My sports books say Ruta and another says Phytolacca for the way mine is presenting so will probably take this. I did take an Arnica 200 when it started!!
Thanks
