Hi Ellen
It is not in my repertory (Radar 7)
If it is in radar, send an email to An Aerts at Archibel and she will give

The withdrawal from alcohol is what it is referring to.

But by no means adequate - you would have to cross reference with all
the other rubrics that refer to alcoholism. Best wishes, Joy

It's a good idea to ask. The authorities? came up with a different answer.
Dear Ellen,
The rubric "MIND - ALCOHOLISM - withdrawal from; to support the"
is the same as "MIND - ALCOHOLISM - remove the habit of drinking; to".
It means the remedy helps to stop the addiction of drinking alcohol.
Since both rubrics have the same meaning, we will make a referring rubric from one to the other in the next version of Synthesis.
With warm regards
An

Hi, Ellen.
I think it means "to support the withdrawal from alcoholism."
