***yeah stenosis is only in babies, but a pyloric obstruction can occur in
adults with a similar presentation and is usually secondary to a tumor or
scarring from an ulcer.
***I agree, that an Aethusa presentation could look like pyloric obstruction
and Aethusa can have generalized oedema associated with it - I just didn't
see the symptoms of an obstruction in the offering we got from Alva and was
confused by the suggestion, which took off, and then became a little
irritated by the lack of the complete case being presented.
As far as "where do I start", I personally think, on reflection, that it
would have been important to determine whether in this case the diarrhoea
was functional or organic before choosing remedies, because if functional
then there is likely to be an emotional component and will affect the
prescription more than likely.
It seems that as this lady had already had investigations done which
revealed nothing that we were informed about, that this could lead one to
think it may be functional, and could be investigated further in that
department.
I also agree that the symptoms are the important thing, but only if taking
into account the sphere of action that a remedy is capable of operating
within or resonates with however one wants to view it - and being able to
see causes helps with this - but this is an ideal situation, as from the
sounds of it you are in far from an ideal situation on that count.
It might turn out that you have more successes than we in the western arena,
due to your need to focus differently!!
***as always, thankyou for your input Didi, I always value what you have to
contribute - your experience is valuable and in volume, incomparable to
mine.
Best to you
