Re: holding penis in 7 yr old - Update
OK that is true!! Will ask Mum to have another check. They would have to be minute though. He has no pain , no burning.

No luck with the Mercury. Mum says that she has noticed that there is a dribble after urination. This is in Staph. so that is the next one I am trying. Mum will be back to the doctor for suggestions as well!!

Re: holding penis in 7 yr old - Update
Spoke to Mumm today who didn't pick up the Staph 3-0 that I left for
the child. A couple of days later there was a strange symptom. He
called his mum in and said look. When he wanted to urinate his penis
swelled like a balloon and when the urine came out it was in a flood
like from an inflated balloon rather than in a stream. This happened
for 2 days. Her GP hadn't a clue as the tests had again come back
negative so she made a private appointment with a consultant. The
child was fully examined and more tests carried out which proved
negative. The consultant reckoned he was just "growing up" and said
that when in the bath he must keep puling the foreskin down and
clean it. Apparently there is a ridge at the top of the penis where
the foreskin is still attached but this will become unattached if he
keeps pulling it back. I don't know about these things as my son was
circumcised for religious reasons. The consultant couldn't explain
the balloon occurrance!!!
So now we are back to where we started and she thinks it has become
a habit. Maybe it is not quite as bad. If she tells him to stop
scratching he presses his thighs together to hold the penis and stop
the itching. He is coming in on Thursday after school and I will
show him EFT tapping in the hope this might help. Does anyone think
it is worth trying the Staph???

Dear Joy,
Not that I know of. Mum would have mentioned it and would know about it I would imagine. Not that this explains the problems would it?

Dear Rochelle, yes, I think it could explain it and I wouldn't assume that
the parents would be aware!! You have to look yourself or ask for a doctor
to do so, at least to rule it out.
Worth looking at the remedies in the 'spurting' and 'forceful' urination
rubrics - Staph should be there but others might be considered.

Re: holding penis in 7 yr old - Update
Hi,
The erection part of it makes me think in another way.
The urine stores up between the prepuce and the glans because the
frontal passage is blocked. This boy is circumsized and there is no
restricted passage.
There is a possiblity that he had an ejeculation and the fluid dried
up and clogged up the passage. Try this ; before going to bed wash
the penis after removing the prepuce back and dry and apply a
lubricant such as olive oil, coconut oil or even plain petroleum
jelly. See next morning whether it still ballons. His closing the
thigh to hold the penis is symbolic of the fact that the child
unknowingly had sensed the sexual sensation. Your previous posting
also I know. This is reality and as perents we all have to look out
for such. Take care.

This boy is not circumcised! I said my son was so that is why I don't know anything about foreskins!!! The ballooning happened for 2 days but has stopped now.
