Hi Russell,

The closer the remedy is to the "simillimum" the more devastating the
effects of an aggravation will be.

Since we are prescribing (hopefully ;) at least a near-simillimum, this is
a wholly different situation than a proving -with notable exception of those
provers who have at times been force to withdraw from a proving...
who must be assumed to have been too susceptible to the remedy through one
of two dimensions:
Either the remedy was for them a somewhat "near simillimum"
Or they were simply highly sensitive in general at that time, either as an
overall personal characteristic, or because of some particular state of
dis-ease existing at that moment.

Since the Organon explains in perfect logic why one should not use more than
the amount of medicine needed to do the job (in case we are sadly lacking
in common sense ;) ...it seems to me that we should do just so- and make
our adjustments to the amount when/if needed.

Maria,

If you have doubts, discuss it with your prescriber. I assume your
follow-up will take place with the prescriber. How can he/she manage the
case if you change the dosing.

Dave, its unethical to interfere as you have done. What will happen here is
the patient will end up taking ongoing repeat doses of liquid Sil 1M instead
of ONE dose (albeit the 6-8 pills), whereas, as you know, someone following
this method may have used a lower potency such as 200C or even LM. To expect
the patient to absorb all the details of liquid posology stat. is not
practical. Will you guide her through if there are aggravations?

Paul Booyse

PAUL, I DO NOT REACT ON THIS LIST OFTEN, BUT THIS TIME I SIMPLY HAVE TO BECAUSE I AGREE WITH YOU TOTALLY. WHAT DAVE DID IS TOTALLY OUT OF LINE AND VERY DANGEROUS.
He might even end up being sued for this.I hope he is warned !!!!!!!!!!!!

Why do you think it important whether you agree or not?
Where to you get your confused idea of what is dangerous and what is not?
What is dangerous is people prescribing thoughtlessly huge doses &
potencies - not objecting to same!

It so happens that I don't live my life in fear of some moron threatening to
sue me, and I also refuse to stand idly by while a mother who has reason to
KNOW BETTER gives her child what appears in her opinion to be an overdose of
remedy.

Aha Dave, so you are willing to go for it. Well, I cannot wait to hear what you did to stop this Hom. As to the mother, she did not know, that's why she asked. Good luck. Ps, no more replies from me on this subject. Well is well, done is done. Greetings from holland, j van der linden
