When did that happen, and why?
Do you happen to know?

I believe that it happened because the Bach people were trying to get flower remedies accepted by government insurance, or something along that line.
Perhaps another example of state power forcing good people to be dishonest.

From what was explained to me, several years ago by someone who was selling them wholesale is the BFR's did not comply with the USA HPUS as regarding being a 'homeopathically prepared remedy' so they have to be labeled with the 6x designation to be in compliance.

Pharmaceutical Interests are big business, run by a lot of individuals up and down the corporate ladder.
Money is earmarked for political contributions.
Sales departments have good budgets to promote their products.
Each is a cog in their part of the business, rarely does anyone take the 'whole' view as we do as homeopaths and healers.
No one who is intelligent bites the hand that feeds them, unless they want to accelerate karma.

I tell my patients the remedy. More than that, I discuss my repertorization work with them, I let them know what rubrics I used and why and why I chose a certain remedy for them. Has not made one iota difference in my results. I still get failures, I still get great cures, I still get lukewarm results, but I do have patients that understand the process, that are willing to explain what had changed and what has not changed and I think I have patients far more involved in their own healing.
I will tell them after all of that, they can look up anything they want about homeopathy but not to look up their own remedy as it will mess up my follow up interview as I will not be able to know if the remedy is working as well as it should. Most of them promptly forget what we discussed and are happy to comply.
Don't see what the fuss is about.
My own homeopath has no problem telling me what to take, I usually have the remedy in my pharmacy. I do not look my remedy up unless I am doing research on a client and that remedy is one in the research pile.
The remedy either works or it doesn't work, I eliminated placebos a long time ago - if placebos work it is not for long.
Warmly, Maria

Hi all,
Does anyone remember the name of the novel where the main character was an Ars Alb?
The story line went something like this:
Ars Alb 30C was suggested and relieved his anxiety. Sometime later the anxiety returned. Instead of choosing a follow up appointment, he decided to self medicate, alas, a bit too frequently. And I'm sure you know the rest of the story.

Hi Irene,
Might have something to do with marketing?
If you go to Amazon and enter Rescue Remedy in the search, here are some of the products that come up:
Rescue Remedy Pet
Rescue Pastilles Black Current
Rescue Sleep Liquid Melts
Rescue Remedy Cream
Supplement Rescue Pearls
Rescue Gum
Bach Kids Rescue Remedy
Etc.

Quite often, Indian homeopaths have presented their approaches, also in various homeopathic hospitals and with serious pathological cases, at conferences in New Zealand and Australia.
Regularly we are shown that part of their approach is to use "Bach Flower remedies in 30C", which inevitably triggers the, often angry, question "why do you potentise a Bach Flower remedy?". The answer was always "that is the way we do it"...."OK, but WHY do you do it that way?"......"that is the way we do it...."
Go figure........
Joe.
