Gosh this is terrible. How can this happen in a civilised country that a person is found guilty without being able to see a judge and jury? Re there any homeopaths out there who used to be lawyers and can help you? $50,000 is a lot of money . I also wouldn’t be able to find sum like this. I am sooo sorry for you Irene and just don’t know what to suggest you do now. Any chance you can get this into the media and then maybe a rich benefactor who has had homeopathy may help?

Summary Judgement is when one side says the evidence is so overwhelming that no trial is needed. Every "finding of fact" used, was an outright invention - but their "opinion" is what counts.

I have 30 days from today in which to appeal to Superior Court.
It costs about $50,000, which I do not have.
The actual order will arrive Tues (snailmail), and is expected to force me to stop homeopathy, take down my website and pay exhorbitant fines. ($1000 a day).

Like the royals (the queen being the largest landowner in the world) of England who are very keen on homeopathy, for themselves at least.

That is the point Rochelle. We have had very few human rights to begin with
but since 911 the powers that be have used that event to attack what few
civil liberties and human rights were available. In the US neo-liberalism has
revealed itself to be an all out effort to entrap people into a totally powerless
position with corporations defining public reality. The courts have never been
an independent institution but have always served their corporate masters.
I believe you are seeing the same thing in the UK and with the EU.
Irene’s case is a very demonstration of my point.

As long as we remain in the EU, 'fairness' in anything will become non-existent. There will be no Human Rights and the EU cannot be reformed - they are dictators! You cannot reform a dictator. Criminal Justice is no longer what it used to be.

This case was such a railroading in my view, with no attention at all to any truth. THye do not want anyoine doing any alternative health at all.
I have 30 days from Friday last week to file an appeal in Superior Court and only 10 days form Friday (so this week to plan it and Monday to file it other side the state somehow) to ask for a stay of fines during appeal - but they are as usual playing with me using up my time as they have not yet delivered the judgemenet or amount of the fine or the orders of what to not do or what to do - meaning I can do NOTHING and file nothing yet.

The bigger issue for me is - I would do an appeal in a flash if I knew I could handle it physically with my health issues. And I am strongly considering it. Then I would do it as my own lawyer "pro se" they call it. A very kind lawyer in Texas has offered me advice, though cannot appear for me - that would need a lawyer in WA state. The one I have now is really nice and of course knows the details and the evil tactics too by now but I cannot afford to pay a lawyer. I already owe him fees for a few years of payments to come - he was kind enough to offer a payment system and also cut his fees in half.

Estimated cost of an appeal with a lawyer is "at least $50,000" with a lawyer. Previous similar cases at appeal cost $175,000 at appeal, lost there and had to continue to Supreme court to win - by which time the $144,000 maximum initial fines had finished them financially anyway - and few could afford supreme court fter SUperior Court.

SO this is not about justice but about setting porecedent to stamp out homeopahty, by using cases like mine with poor health and no money who can not afford to appeal - to set that precedent as case law for all future attempts at veterinary homeopathy. Other states will also use it. They often use each other's state law cases to quote in arguments and rulings in future. So this is dangerous for ALL the veterinary homeopaths in USA>
Mine is the FIRST veterinary homepathy case in WA (or anywhere?) so they must be very happy to have a precedent like that. All the more reason I MUST fight it.

And personally this is about stopping the completion and publifcation of my life's work. And that is for me my life on the line. I will not give up my life's work - need to find a solution.

It is most evil and I hope to find a way to fight it. I need to wait for the actual judgement first to know the ruling. SO far I just know it was a ruling "for" the state and "against" me.

I'll plan as soon as I get the judgement.

I have been reading the postings about your case - and I am very sorry for you - It is clear to me that this could be driven by the - Natural Health medical schools - we had the same problem here in PA - the Natural Health medical Schools from Arizona,Conneticut where trying to license any Natural Health Practitioners in this state - graduates from those schools where pushing the petitions - and here is the clincher - Homeopathy falls under the Natural Health Practitioner label - nevermind that Homeopathy is a entire knowledge base by itself and as we all know takes years of learning. They definitely want to make an example of you - we still have not gotten out of the dark ages where they burned people at the stake just to discourage and frighten.
My point, this Judge may be in the pocket of one of the schools - they of course do not want any one practicing that has not gone to one of their schools - same as the AMA has been doing - ostracizing any one who does not conform - many MD's who dared to practice a sane and humane natural health or homeopathy have lost their license and become destitute - Read the story of Dr. Levine from NY State he fought 9 years and won - one of the few. I was married to an MD and we still talk he tells me all the time that he has to practice with in the guidelines or get punished and it is getting worse because Natural medicine is on the rise.
Find out what you can about this Judge that may be an avenue. Then get a young energetic Lawyer - the Law school is a good idea - and fight this. Mobilize the Homs in Wash and Oregon. Protest, people have a right to treat their pets with natural remedies.
