Could not agree more:-)

And your DE with animals missing sounds good too - except that there are no fleas there to kill.....
Fleas do not get off the animal, and DE cannot touch pupae.

Agree there no instant ways to get full health, more's the ppity.
For fleas, I'd rather try brewer's yeast on the animal's coat...a little at a time as it is likely new protein. It's nutritious, and leads to health, and fleas can't stand it.

Namaste,
Irene

Hi Maria
I was wondering if you gave colostrum to your dog for the ear gunk? I got too busy to join in on the conversation about fleas....I use beneficial nematodes in my garden and yards. It does nothing for a house infestation, but once you are rid of pests in the home, the beneficial nematodes will keep them from coming in from outside your home.
About 3 years ago I rescued 4 kittens, they all were infested with fleas, I normally would not use frontline or any other poison, but I did not have the time to comb all my 7 cats (my three other cats got fleas from the new kittens) several times a day, so before the house got infested I used frontline on them....but...I used one dose for ALL of them, that means one or two drops per cat, not the whole dose. I only had to administer the poison 2 times to all the cats to get rid of the fleas, this was 3 years ago, I live in an area with very sandy soil, fleas abound here, but not at my house and yard!
Back to the ear problem, I have tried Silica for the ear discharge on some dogs, the remedy has to fit the patient because yeast overrun is not an acute problem, I have had some successes. Colostrum worked best for me and my canine friends.
I hope things worked out for you and don’t need this information.

Mary, thank you so much! I am going to give it a try.

Hi Maria
I get colostrum from the health food store, I am guessing you are going to the feed store to get fresh colostrum? That would be better! Never thought about that.
Good Luck
