Well I have mentioned before when these interminable unproductive disputes are in progress that Homeopathy is an energy medicine and that to my mind allows for practitioner's intuitive input. I have had this mother who is very burdened talking care of 2 young children, feels something not right about herself, often fearful of going out, was not well nurtured [ I had tried some of the other Lacs ] as a child, picks her lips incessantly, while obviously stressed and struggling adopts a nonchalant attitude. The 9 month child will not settle to sleep. Has to be near Mother's face. Loves to touch Mother and be touched. Loves smacking noises near her face. I have tried so hard to address the problems. The other day I held the child while the Mother used my toilet. I brought her to the room looking out on the garden and a cat which infrequently appears was there. The child was enchanted. It came flooding back to me how the grandmother loved her cats. I explored Lac Felinum in Reference works and there was the remedy.
Things are improving some unimportant aggravations but Mother who is homoeopathically aware ,thank goodness as would not have stuck with me otherwise ,sent this
I thought this part of the link interesting
I think it's definitely true that in some cases this behaviour becomes a habit - it's a bit like nail biting in humans. It's often stress or boredom related, and unfortunately some cats get stressed / bored really easily - i.e. they have a lovely home and nothing to worry about, but they still get wound up and display this behaviour as a result.
I knew cats could display this behaviour, relentless biting, licking or skin, often due to stress so I just looked it up quickly.
Also if you recall, my fear of just about anything outside the house, scared of sitting in my backyard, walking outdoors, going on holidays. Thinking that something bad is going to happen, xxxx and I just went on a lovely walk and there was no anxiety at all for me.
It has taken a while to get to the bottom of this, how funny that it came about in such a way. I think there will be lots of changes become apparent over the coming months. Im still waiting for something to prove this wrong, but I cant ignore that I have not picked my lips for 4 days.
4 days later
I am actually more patient with the kids. I can handle both of them together
better, and do the chores as well without getting overwhelmed.
:
I do not think would have got this except by some sort of help from the universe. Maybe I should have but we all have limitationsthink
I do hate this vilifying of people. How can we be healers with such rigidity of ideas.
There! I have said what I think.
Joy contributed greatly and is a big loss. I miss Hahnemannian and Rosemary and Robyn Some of the others who criticise so much contribute little.
I will move on , Jean
