Hi Soula,
Perhaps if this is the basis for the search it's worthwhile reviewing the case itself, the deviations from health and the area which is stuck, to base the prescription on symptom similarity rather than something that came up in a dream. The remedies we have already have a much broader scope than those we assume and prescribe for. Would you be interested in posting something of the case here?
Regards,
Vera

I thought it had already been proved as well but ran out of time looking for it.

In the meantime, I thought I asked a relevant homeopathic question that has been totally overlooked by all the arguments over the morality of the request.....
so I'd still like to hear a comment on....

You've looked at Ambra grisea for her? ("Intestinal secretion of a sperm whale")
Do I remember right that there are a few cases where we have remedies made from different parts of the same animal, e.g. feather vs. blood of same type of bird, things like that? Blood vs. milk? (Most of which could certainly be done in ways that did not harm the animal.) Would be interesting to make those comparisons.

That would be an interesting study to see if there are differences between different parts of the
organism in proving symptoms. For example are there more organ related symptoms if the
rx is made from the heart vs the stomach? If perhaps a dozen rx were tested out this way to see
if there is a tendency?

Whales have been known to beach themselves in and around Georgia Straight on the west coast of Canada. I think this would be the most humane and respectful way to obtain a small sample of whale bluber.
I think there have been four beachings already this year. Sometimes it's clear that the whale was sick or that it was starving, sometimes they can't figure out why it beached itself. It would be interesting to witness a proving from beached whale bluber.
I'll keep my ears open for the next beaching. I know many people in the area that might be able to obtain a sample for you.

Hi Didi Ananda : Specifically whale blubber came up in relation to a client, as part of a dream. I tried to locate the remedy, and I thought I came across that it existed as a remedy in Norway, but could never locate. The client has had many other remedies that have helped, but there is a part not affected so far. There is something about the blubber that insulates them in the cold arctic waters and I think whale blubber holds a lot of toxins, they have even found fire retardant in it.

Makes me wonder how many of the 'human' sourced remedies have been proved - am guessing no human was deliberately harmed for the purpose of obtaining them. There is a big difference between the sarcodes and the hormones for example. And while sharing some symptoms, Lac Maternum and Lac Humanin aren't interchangeable.
I think the whale remedies would be very profound - the wealth from whaling and whale products were once a very important part of many cultures. A bit like the towns that sprung up and then died because of the Gold Rush.

LOL! You've put a whole new spin on the pastoral landscape!!!
It is a dog-eat-dog world -- and fox-eat-chicken, and people-eat-cow... That's how I've made peace with my "predator" status (and with having a body that does not run well without a little meat). My aim is to be as kind as I can in every step of it, including buying my foods from humanely run businesses, just as much as I can.
But guilty about eating them? I've conquered that, tho not happily. The purpose of life is *life*, and honestly death is a part of it. Whether through age, illness, accident or predation. Even plants "eat" minerals, break them down for their own nefarious purposes--and then are broken down in turn, by animals, insects, and microbes.
Cheers,
Shannon
Hello: I wonder if there is anyone who could send me some whale blubber, I am looking to make the remedy and do a proving. But am unable to locate a very small quantity. If you could assist in any way please let me know. I need about 1 tsp.
Thank you

When we step out of our western centric hubris, we learn about the hundreds of cultures that
lived with a spiritual connection to the earth and all its beings. That spiritual connection always
honored the animals that provided food for these people's survival. People honored the animal
spirits and thanked each animal that they slaughtered for food. Part of the honoring was to only
seek killing an animal for food, and no part of that animal was wasted. I imagine there was some
killing for protection; ie, if an animal became predatory on the community. But I believe those
were also used for food and clothing.
I feel that larger spiritual connection is what has gotten lost in western traditions and culture. We
are a culture that sees everything in discrete segments, unrelated to what else is around. Even
our bodies are dissected and viewed in isolated discrete parts.
We are interdependent on the produce, animal and vegetable, of the world for our survival. That is
our nature and we need not feel guilty for eating. But how we do it and what is our understandings
are the issues.
