Thanks, I'm aware of all that.
But I thought that was what we're talking about, if the pt has had new (never had them before) symptoms that are not part of direction-of-cure? Which is sometimes referred to as "proving symptoms" resulting from an imperfect remedy choice. But, I guess the terminology is less important than the principles, so I suppose that's enough said about it...

Even people with less than good health can prove rx (one needs to be able to ascertain the sx and subtract them from their own sx state) so this could be either a proving or an imposed disease, so yes we are talking about that possibility, although it was you? who used the term 'dissimilar aggravation'. Either way, it is not good practice and should be avoided, in this case with unnecessary repeated doses because this is what can happen and worse, in some cases, you cannot tell what is going on and makes subsequent decisions about the case very difficult - very unfair on the client as well.

Always worth talking about it so people do not make these mistakes.

In very sensitive patients, an F series starting at 3C with every dose dissolved in water and using the LM technique of multiple dilution glasses, working backwards towards the first glass, then moving to next potency when there is no more evolution, is safe, without much of an aggravation and very flexible; the only drawback is that it is slow.

Hi Shannon,
Aggravation = the increeased severity of something already there. Proving = a display of symptoms as a result of a new control of the VF, a new disruption.
aggravation = a sign that an (influence; dose0 is acting (too) strongly on the VF. If it is a mild aggravation and if the general changes indicate the action of the simillimum, that is OK. If aggravation is intense, even if the total action seems to indicate simillimum, the dose must be (stopped; changed; antidoted).
If the action is not simillimum, all aggravation is unwelcome. Dissimilar aggravtion is not simillimum and not welcome.
regards,
Paul
