Yes I would agree, we need to know what the dream means to the patient. This is a practical experience I had with dreams several years ago with a patient ago who suffered from panic attacks. She told me she had a feeling of entrapment during these attacks which also would occur at night as well as in the day. She had a persistent dream of climbing a hill only to find an insurmountable wall stopping (confining) her from getting to the other side. She related the dream sensations as a metaphor for her inability to prevent the panic attacks. As our homeopathic treatments started relieving her attacks, her dream changed so that when she got to the top of the hill the wall was no longer there. A Fascinating experience.
