Drug Screening Test - Question

I just wanted to add another piece about this discussion.

I had another patient who had a drug test with his local doctor which came
back positive for opiates which was one classification of drugs he WASNT
using.

They worked it out that he had just come back from a week at health farm
where they had poppy seeds on EVERYTHING. That was the only answer to the
question of how opiates came back in his urine test!

Yes Michele... I know of someone who was released from prison and on
probation with frequent "surprise/random" drug testing... they did tell him
not to eat poppy seeds as it would cause him to test positive for opiates...
