Skin symptoms aggravate and I have seen that- but if the disease in on the way to cure the patient is better on the whole... in this case if the pain is so severe that the patient is preoccupied with it- then it shows that the disease is still in there...

There are physical sx, emotional sx and mental perception sx the latter (mentals) often being used to cover emotional sx and of course they are not the same thing at all.

It is also misleadingly believed that every single 'issue' emitted form a client is part of the case, the so called totality. This is not the case either - the totality pertains to what needs to be cured. This might mean there is no derangement on the mental level and thus no mental sx, it can also mean there are no usable emotional sx, although there is almost always some physical sx.

What cures one client will not always cure another.

Yes.
There are always mental sx, they do not necessarily pertain to
derangement, but they differentiate among remedies which met other
needs of the case.
You responded here to three specific plantar fasciitis case I had
that you know nothing about,. I merely said what THESE cases needed.
I do not agree, I always include mental sx, especially in a chronic
case.

It is very wrong to assume, before you even take a case, that there is mental derangement - why have such a closed mind about what a case may present. If there is no derangement, i.e. no sx then why make them up to fit a case to a rx or a rx to a case. It is like saying that a client presents with all and every sx of the sx picture of a remedy. Not true.

Is that what you do or why do you mention it?

I do not always see derangement (depending how you define it) but i
do always see mind characteristics, an I never omit them in a chronic
case. Hence I had said:
For example in selecting a remedy for each of two FIP cases,
although there may be identical physical symptoms, the difference in
the mind sx will decide the remedy - one cat may be hanging out away
from people, not wanting contact and the other may be on the owner's
lap but not liking strangers. First may get China, and 2nd may get
Lyc, (all else being equal and matching.)

In my view it is not possible to have a chronic disease without
having mind sx (or even an acute).
In homeopathy a sx is not always like an allopathic symptom -
homeopathy considers much more subtle ones as in this example (taken
from actual cases.) But there always are mind sx and I consider them
very relevant in every case..

Making reference to your vague use of terms is why I mention it so that people think about how to take a case with due care and attention instead of being misled with vague use of terms.

Again you seem to be mixing emotional issues that an animal may have with mental sx - with the example you give - hence the need for further clarity. Emotional sx do not mean mental sx. Would you mix up the sx of grief with sx of mental dullness that presented as an inability to comprehend numbers for example.

Does anyone have any knowledge of remedies for an acute plantar fasciitis which has just appeared in me while I was sat at my desk minding my own business!! I can’t walk on my right foot !! Just had the diagnosis confirmed at A&E!!
Tried to rep it and can’t find it. My sports books say Ruta and another says Phytolacca for the way mine is presenting so will probably take this. I did take an Arnica 200 when it started!!
Thanks
Rochelle

I must say that I never luck with Ruta, don’t know why, but haven’t
When I develop a plantar fasciitis case on the arch of my foot, it was
exercises that helped the most. I found them online. Very simple stretches.
And the recommendation to keep foot in a flexed position when sleeping so it
didn’t tighten up at night. My daughter has the same condition now and states
that in the morning it is very painful (due to tightness, constriction).
This sounds more Rhus tox like.
Also, look into magnesium deficiencies. There is a lot of that going around
these days. Mag affects the ligaments/tendons as I understand it. Nutrition
can be a real kickers—or the lack of it.
good luck

Thanks – I am going to go for the Phytolacca I think. Was going to do 200 but decided to chicken out and do 30!! I take magnesium daily so can’t be that. I suspect it is 2 weeks abroad with only walking as exercise and then returning and going straight into a body combat class Tuesday and Step class last night. I can actually walk on it now so maybe the Arnica 200 I took earlier has helped !!

Poor Rochelle! I don't envy you, having had the same thing years ago. Different feet, different times, different remedies. You just have to rep on the symptoms.
Another thing that is helpful, however, is a warm comfrey compress. I grow the stuff, but you can obtain it from any decent herbal shop. I found those very soothing.
Peace,
Dale
