Once when I was a new mom my baby got a fever of 104. (Baby is 34, now) I was practically hysterical. It was winter and the HMO was about an hour away. I wrapped him up in about 8 blankets, put him in the car with the heater on and "flew" to the emergency room. You can probably guess the outcome. His temp broke from the extra blankets and he was laughing and smiling by the time the doctor came into the room. I learned a big lesson and started bundling up anybody that had a fever. Works pretty well most of the time. It is harder with adults, though.

Interesting and very homeopathic treatment, actually. Rosemary

Similar to the good ol' "sweat bath"/hot bath approach, which is my personal
favorite!
Hm... Not only do I not use antipyretics, I actually work on making the
fever *worse*! Hadn't noticed that before.
