Hi Cinnabar,
...
Can you say more about this? I was fielding a dim memory that it's not
uncommon for schiziphrenics to develop cancer during the course of their
cure -- which hopefully would be dealt with by remedies, not by chemo and
etc.
I've both seen and experienced the process of pathology moving out from the
mental and beginning to show in the physical -- tho I have never treated
serious mental disease, and never seen this happen in a dangerous way. When
I experienced this in myself ("never sick" as a kid, but also never well)
the trade-off was very, very, very well worth it -- being sick sometimes,
but having a life in between!! But if the physical expression is severe or
dangerous, that adds a dimension...
Can you say any more about it?

Hi Shannon,
I saw a teenaged boy in my relative circle. For his fifteen years, he
was so childish mentally. Then got the history. He was caught red
handed in school with an obscene magazine and some public punishment
was given.(parents said the fault was not his). Then he became like
this. I was on the verge of saying something about the treatment but
couldn't then.
Recently after a year I saw him again, he was much better. Curious, I
talked to him. He said, "I had a terrible period last month. Was just
vomitting." This explained the order of cure. Still he is on
the 'border'. He is being counselled by psychiatrists and they also
drug him. But it is his vital force that stood up against all these
suppressions and tried to cure his body and mind.(without any homeo
drugs).
More than the physical illnesses, it is the mind centred cases that
give immense satisfaction and a self belief for a homeopath.

Venkat

That is interesting!
I wonder, tho, whether he is really *healing* (after 15 years I would think
the disorder was quite entrenched?), or whether the stomach sickness had
temporarily displaced the mental one? (Dissimilar diseases cannot cure each
other, but can temporarily displace? Altho "last month" does sound as tho
that's well in the past...)
How sad; I hope he is indeed getting well!

Hi, Shannon,
Like you, this is something I learned. I've only seen it in action so far
in another homeopath's case. She gave Hyoscyamus to an institutionalized
patient: it brought him out of his catatonia within hours, but he died
months later of an aggressive cancer that seemed to appear out of nowhere.
I have a patient with severe OCD who's changed tremendously in the year I've
been treating her. There's a strong cancer miasm in the case, so you can
bet I'm watching carefully to see if there are any physical changes as her
mental pathology improves. So far she's just doing great on all levels, and
I'm wondering if the relatively slow pace of treatment, with gradually
ascending potencies, helped her body adjust gradually. Just a thought.
Peace,
Cinnabar
