Thanks Joy. I read and thought I still can't tell which would be best for my patient until got to the last paragraph. Now reading that I do understand the difference. I need to ask the question "Where do you see yourself in relationship with others, above, below or at the same level?" However "above" could still be either of them. I have had a Plat patient and one of the things is that they don't want children as they are scared of childbirth .Is this the same in Pall? M patient has 3 children so I think she is more likely to be Pall. Also I can't see her hurting others . She certainly has the wounded pride.

Palladium is the social butterfly, Platina is contemptuous, feel royal,
and was one of David Mundy's 'ugly sisters' in Cinderella story - if
that helps.

Palladium might have issues around having children but not from an
emotional problem (they might actually feel good about seeing
themselves in their own child = ego) but the childbearing problems
might come from an instinctive knowledge of the physical problems -
lots of pelvic problems, uterine prolapse, ovarian dysfunction etc, so
they 'choose' not to have children possibly because there might be
problems conceiving etc. Hope useful, Joy
