Hi, Tanya
Thailand is not the only country where one can find reasonably-priced good dental work. When I was in Mexico some years ago for my husband's cancer treatment, I met an American who'd come to Tijuana for extensive dental surgery. It was so much cheaper than in the States and the quality of care was so much better. (I should add that we experienced the same with my husband's treatment.)
Peace,
Dale

You are right about this Dale. I have heard good things about Cancer and Aids treatments in Mexico that cannot even be gotten in the US
Unfortunately, traveling abroad is not a possibility for me.
Generally, we know that we have no health care in the US. Instead we have a medical industry based on profit, maintaining disease. and
creating ongoing drug customers. This is where the war on drugs needs to be:-)

I know a lot of older people who go to Algodones Mexico for dental and meds. When I visited my daughter in Yuma, AZ. we took a 5 minute trip into the town, I was amazed at how clean and professional all the establishments were. Yuma Az. populations swells with over 100,000 people during the winter and a great percentage go there because of Algodones. I agree with Tanya's statement when she said: Instead we have a medical industry based on profit, maintaining disease. and creating ongoing drug customers. This is where the war on drugs needs to be:-)”

HI Tanya – I am on the East coast of Australia – in Queensland about 100km from Brisbane – our main city and airport
the flight is about 10-11 hours – with a stop in Singapore
I went to Phuket – The company Sea and Smile – have also offices in Bangkok – but I didn’t want to do that many people (not great with big cities) so Phuket was good and much more relaxed and away from the politics which have a greater impact in Bangkok.
