I had a patient of 12 years. It started with affairs. It took many years and a lot of work between the couple for the sexual obcession to come out in my sessions. This was all on the telephone. They were long time friends, so the homeopathic intakes it started in person. After 12 years and a lot of talking, I got him to lay down with the laptop on his belly and a pillow under his head. We were talking about sports and suddenly the analogy with sex came up. Suddenly everything made sense. What he was looking for through these really crazy affairs. He is a very ethical person, so it was crazy. Anyway, relaxing was very important. I also told him that obsession with sex is a medical issue. That seemed to help him alot. As if I knew. LOL But really, it did not seem like an ethical issue although the repercussions were ethical. As I got deeper into what was motivating him, he also seemed to be learning something new too. We are still not out of the forest, but I am hopeful.
