Stevia is an herb and can have problems, like any herb, from overuse.
Here, some research suggests a component of stevia is carcinogenic, another says causes fertility problems.
Natural doesn't mean exclusively safe.

Diet Pepsi/Coke, etc. from fountains do not use aspartame, only saccharin.
Feel free to drink a Diet Pepsi from Target, 7-11 and other fountain locations.

A homeopath told me a few years ago that allium cepa is the remedy for
addiction to carbonation.

Thanks for sharing that, I am going to try to find someone who is a real carbonated drinks addict and see if it works.

Right now I have a craving for carbonated drinks, so I will be the 1st to test All-C in a 30C BID.

That's interesting but addiction to carbonation may be a separate rubric from that of being addicted to a particular flavor of diet soda, say diet Coke or Pepsi. I know I don't have withdrawal symptoms if I don't drink it, I don't care for it in the morning, mostly later day and night. I also think certain ingredients in diet Coke, like citric acid and/or phosphoric acid make me feel better, something stomach or digestive related and these are mainly in colas. It's not the caffeine because I can drink caffeine free diet Coke and still have same satisfaction. Also, many fountains have selections for diet Dr. Pepper or diet lemon/lime soda and those nor plain seltzer don't satisfy me as diet Coke does
Maybe we need to prove Coke and Diet Coke to see what happens???
They are so popular worldwide.
Both syrups are sold at Sam's Club for restaurant use in fountain machines.
Coke in the USA uses high fructose corn syrup.
Coke in Mexico uses sucrose and is sold in the USA in small bottles
Coke with sucrose is also available now in Jewish areas in cities as it is kosher for Passover, which started this week It has a yellow cap to distinguish from regular Coke. HFCS can't be used during Passover.
