Dear Gregory
thanks. I'm glad too you're opening a dialog and not simply an "attack" on someone else's approach to treatment.

After long exchanges with other "regulars" on this mailing list (and yes!! I'm one who likes Minutus very much!) I already know their styles - and most of them, including Rochelle (as far as I can tell) is "classical". And she knows me thru Minutus. So I don't fear "misguiding" her. she will know if she likes my advice or not.

The point is - because our styles are different we are learning from it. I get such feedback from others and I've learned a tremendous amount from reading and exhanging on Minutus. I don't think this is a bad thing that we have different approaches.
re: "isopathy" & "tautopathy"
I have, over and over again found this approach to be effective & quick for drug side-effects. I remember one lady on antibiotics going all woozy. A homemade quick-made tautopathic (=isopathic) cleared the sideeffects even before she reached her car to leave my place. I have numerous cases of quinine poisoning (malaria treatments) being cleared with China Sulph. (and this tip I learned thru reading the classic masters)

Just recently one of my students treated a 7 year old girl, who, apparently was paralyzed and retarded after MMR vaccination (at age 1) with a few doses of MMR 30c. Within a few doses, the girl is now starting to walk and tryng to speak. Now she will start to be treated with the constitutional as it presents (I think it's BUFO in this case)

We can't deny what's in front of our very eyes.

And I can't believe that our Hahnemann would have denied it either
Sincerely,

Hi Didi and all,

I will add a few words from my perspective and experience.

I have frequently found the isopathic approach to be disappointing and am puzzled why others find it to be so successful.

The only time I can recall it getting good results is with a prescription of Opium for somebody who had chronic somnolence after being on morphine whilst in hospital - but then it should have produced a good result as his symptoms were a very good Opium match.

I have tested the isopathic approach on numerous other occasions because, with the clinic that sees large numbers of children with autism (linked to their vaccines) I have had the opportunity to do so, and because others have spoken so highly of it, thought I would see for myself.

On each occasion, even when there was a clear link between medicine and symptoms, the results have been poor or non-existent. On then prescribing the best indicated remedy, the results have been outstanding. On only one occasion have I seen a child regain lost speech with an isopathic approach but his other symptoms of vaccine injury and autism were not touched.

With Tinus Smits' CEASE therapy (a name he is given to an isopathy sequential therapy approach) becoming increasingly well-known, I'm starting to see children who have been treated with this approach at the hands of other therapists - not always homoeopaths.

Some have been under treatment with this approach for 12 months or more with very little improvement and in nearly every case, plenty of aggravations. When I prescribe the indicated remedy for these children they do very well and the parents are blown away by the response. The concerning thing is that they have all been under the impression that their child has been receiving homoeopathic treatment when it has only been isopathic. How many children out there never make it onto true homoeopathic treatment because of this?

When this is the sort of thing I am seeing with isotherapy how come others are reporting such good results? Could their results be from cases where, like my opium case, where the symptoms actually match the remedy?

Honestly, a lot of parents out there who are looking to good treatment for their children, are being misled at the moment. From my experience, isopathy just doesn't deliver but does present a paint by numbers approach for those with little training in homoeopathy - and I'm talking about other therapists, not necessarily homoeopaths, working in the area of autism.

It also isn't new. All of those master homoeopaths before us who have dabbled in isopathy seem to report the same thing - its results are not consistent enough or deep enough.

Sounds like one useful thing could be knowing how to recognize--or at least find--the prescribing pictures of suspect substances (vaccines, toxins, etc.), so that *when* the presenting picture matches, the isode (which is in that case also homeopathic) can be given. (And it should of course be made clear, in those cases, that the prescription is being made *not* because the substance is presumed to be the cause, but because the homeopathic prescribing picture matches.)
