You raise a particular point in a parenthetic manner--heavy phyisical activity of the gauchos. The body burns
up those calories much faster than happens in the standard western lifestyle. I would imagine their metabolism
is greately revved up as it was in the cowboys of the American west that lived on the open range, relying on
what was available for food; ie, small game, fishing, on occasions beef. They did make beef jerky which I
am sure they carried with them as it was dry and light weight.
However, eating meat 3x/daily, 7 day/week is very excessive and is very common. Even with the best organic
meat that puts an overload on the body.
It is also true that many peoples of the world lived primarily on veg diets. They got their protein from the combination
of things like grain/beans/corn. And despite our need for B-12, we don't need enormous amounts of meat to get it.
And there are plant sources in small quantities.

That point has been made several times now, so let's not keep repeating it.

Well...as they say...meat grounds the rising and over abundant kundalini. Who
is "they". A man was burning up and the doctors could find nothing wrong with
him and i think he was burning up for several years. He was a strict
vegetarian. Then one night he had a dream about meat. He ate some meat and the
burning stopped. Then he became a yogi.

thank you for validating the research commentary reported from years ago.
the actual colon cancer numbers should be reserached in Argentina to help support this
information.
