Tanya,
There are huge M/E changes that come with Lyme disease. I attended a meeting of both victims and family and discovered that it mimics so many other diseases, people are Dx as Parkinson's or just dementia, when they really have Lyme and have always had it but no one Dx it.

It can be pretty horrible. About 10 yrs ago now there was a person who was refused dx of lyme.
She was in wheelchair due to the disability and she could not get any aid for either legal or
medical help. Today, there is a woman in my community who is struggling with lyme which
appears to becoming chronic.
I like this film and this article that I previously referenced because they provide some clear
information on the aspects of lyme that are not well known. The article, by an md, was very
specific on what is wrong with most testing and what needs to be examined in blood tests.
He is also very specifically directive that people need to deal with mds who specialize in
lyme. He ignores homeopathy as a solution, of course, but we don't have to do that!
As people who live by a different healing paradigm, we need to take what we can from all
this information and see how to hone our skills when working with people who have/may have
lyme.
