I think that feeling “like an orgasm” is “exquisite” in repertory-speak. I know what she means; I have itches that feel kinda like that when scratched. Have had very itchy ears off and on for years and they are one itch I have thought of when seeing the “exquisite” itch in the repertory. Teresa

				Hi Rochelle,
On a practical level, ear candling can be very helpful - hollow
candles designed to sit in the opening - as they burn a vacuum is
created that cleans and clears the ears. They have also helped
industrial deafness.
Low Manganese can be an issue with sensitive ears and tinnitus - so
this brings in perhaps Manganese or remedies like Arnica or Ledum
which are high in Manganese.
One patient who had Lachesis for other issues, experienced that large
amounts of wax just came out of her ears - she would usually have to
get them syringed - and when I re-read Lachesis I found it
specifically mentions dry, hard earwax.

Probably a few oil treatments, leaving the oil in there stopped with
a cotton ball would soften wax enough so it would come out after a
couple of further syringe treatments with warm water.
having them syringed? Any remedy suggestions? She also has a strange
habit of woggling her ears with her knuckles because of the nice
sensation which she describes as like having an orgasm!!

				(G) Thats the old joke isn't it...is sex better for men or women?....put your finger in your ear and wiggle it...which feels better, your finger or your ear!
My apologies for the frivolity.

Just before bed last night I remembered the other word I have attached to that feeling of itching and scratching so pleasantly: voluptuous itching. Again must be repertory-speak. Teresa

yes, i recall that one, too.
i have 21 rubrics with itching, voluptuous in my
radar program (not counting the veterinary program
which just duplicates them all). there are 21 rx
for SKIN-ITCHING, voluptuous. nothing for the ear
specifically.

				Gail, that's great!
Where did you get the information about Arnica and Ledum's manganese
connection?

				Hi Shannon,
Vermeulan in a seminar a couple of years ago mentioned the
connection. Manganese is worse from repetitive jarring - like using a
jack hammer, and that ties into that Arnica and Ledum are both often
useful when there is injury from repetitive jarring actions. I guess
ear syringing could fit into this.
The other interesting snippet I remember is that the snake poisons
all contain Zinc so have some symptoms in common with Zinc like wrote:

				Dear Tanya and Teresa,
With my patient it is not itching that this is. It is much harder than that when you waggle your ears using the knuckle of a finger. I have just done it to myself and I do understand the feeling she is getting. I like the word "exquisite" that was suggested.
Voluptuous itching is usually associated with the vulva area.

actually the word 'voluptuous' is listed in 21 different
rubrics relating to all different parts of the body.
and the ear is an erotic zone of the body.
