Luise, I agree 100% about the importance of asking open-ended questions.
They often bring out the descriptions that provide the key to the case.
When I made my previous comment, however, about observation being crucial
with humans as well as other animals, I was thinking especially of people
such as infants, individuals with dementia or psychiatric or developmental
disabilities, or people whom one is interviewing in a language that is not
their native one. In all these cases, the answers to questions do not
contain the subtleties that one can obtain in many interviews in more
standard circumstances. The case has to be built largely on observations.

Do you mean the cat behavior issues?
If so, I don't think I've written this up anywhere - other than
maybe in odd emails emails or to clients as needed here and there.
I've worked with cats since I was kindergarten age and as a breeder
since much the same time:-) One then sees how cat society works - in
other words I guess I never thought to write it up:-)

However - There is a little on constitutional types of cats in the
Vethom-friends archives if that's what you were asking:-)

Yes, it was - and on looking again I still cannot find it - i. e. I
