Re: Large open leg wound

Greetings.

Please have the person contact homeopath Dr. Suneta in Kampala tel. +25675886122.

You didn't mention if the wounds are remaining open due to infection (ie have been converted to tropical ulcers) or just in the process of damage done and are healing in their own way.

Since other Minutus writers have given effective accident advice, I'm going to consider the possibility of the wounds being infected and are ulcerating tropical-style.

Consider bathing/soaking the wound(s) in a hydrogen peroxide solution along with internal Ars.30 or Lach.30 Often, I found, this is the best way for infected open tropical wounds/ulcers. The H2O2 bath can be alternated or combined with calendula or better yet, ALOE as a PACK BANDAGE- which is readily available in Uganda. Other anti-septic things available in Uganda would be neem leaves or tumeric powder instead of calendula. Teetree may or may not be available in Uganda but is in Kenya and we can send it up immediately.

Aloe grows all over Uganda, is in many household gardens and also is marketed there. Just cut open a leaf and wrap it over the wound or squeeze the pulp over the wound. Does wonders. I've cleared many a dangerous wound with it.

My own phone number is below and you can ask the person to contact me if they can't get hold of Dr. Suneta. Uganda is only a day's bus ride away and we can send up medicines immediately.
Sincerely,
Didi Ananda Ruchira

Hi Lucy!
Thanks for the quick reply!

I learnt that Arn ist highly allergenic:
"""Allergy to arnica has been recognised for several centuries with over
100 cases reported in the literature. Most cases appear to be from self
treatment with tincture of arnica. Arnica contains a group of chemicals
called the sesquiterpene lactones, notably helenalin and its esters.
This group of chemicals is known to be strong allergens. Other allergens
have also been found."""
I also heard that some allergy is possibly from 2 different genus of
larvae which live in Arnica.
"Crystals in the blood" sounds very strange in my ears.

Bests

Peter

Thank you to all who have replied to this post both on the group and
privately. I have forwarded several of your messages to my friend
and am hopeful that she will find the advice helpful. It is hard for
her since she is here in the states and her sister is in Uganda,
Africa....I had some Ignatia in a home kit that she thinks helps...

Anyway, I did ask her for an update and am waiting for her reply.
THe reason, as far as I know that the wounds are open (billateral
upper thighs on top)is because the skin was scraped off in a bad car
accident which broke both of her legs. She had surgery to repair the
breaks, but is in her first trimester of pregnancy and this makes
her a poor surgical candidate (for skin grafts). No mention of
infection has been made, nor do I know the current treatment regeime.

Again, Thank you for the posts and I will update as I know more.
Judy

Hi Tina,

afaik Arnica should never be applied to open wounds.

Hi Shannon,

Calendula internally in potency is a "specific" for "flat" open wounds
with loss of substance (skin, muscle).

As typical for specifics, the experience here has been with low
potencies, I do not know about C 200.

Hi Simon,
Not form my academic bent, but from looking at the provings:-)

The skin conditions of Arnica are all from outside applications ( the
erisypelas kinds of sx) or clinical experience/cured symptoms
(haematomas etc.) - whether the former happened as poisonings or
within the framework of provings I do not remember. Does not seem to
make much difference, does it?

Hi Simon,
Are you sure about the latter (I do not mean as far as your kids are
concerned, but generally).?:-)
That it is.

I am only sure of one thing and that is that when my awareness and my
consciousness meet I am happy

All else is definitely subject to question
